Our program is developmentally based and child-oriented. The curriculum provides hands-on activities in art, science & nature, music, movement, language development, dramatic play, math and reading readiness, cooking, physical development, fine motor development, swimming lessons and field trips.

Our curriculum is delivered in both morning and afternoons; not just during the morning hours, with custodial afternoon care, which is what you may find with other programs

Our curriculum encourages infants and toddlers to explore their world in a child-centered way, experiencing new sights, sounds, textures, movements, and interactions in a safe and trusting atmosphere. It is a blend of teacher facilitated and individual learning experiences, incorporated within a multi-sensory, hands-on approach. Babies learn to trust, understand, say simple words and strengthen muscle coordination. The interaction between teacher and baby is attentive and individualized, specific to each child. As babies grow to toddlers, the curriculum stimulates readiness to speak and socialize and they begin to perform independently. This is when self-help skills are introduced. They are given the opportunity to explore, while developing an ability to think, reason, question and experiment. Each day offers a new variety of experiences to include story and songs; art and music; sand and water play, as well as outside activity. Sensory activities include shapes, letters, colors, body parts and movement.

Occasionally we will supplement the curriculum with field trips for the preschoolers. Parents are notified in advance and encouraged to participate.

Swim lessons are offered periodically through the year. Classes are designed for 3-to-5 years olds and limited to five children per instructor. This provides very individualized instruction. Recreational swimming for four to five-year olds is included in our curriculum as well. All children who participate in recreational swim and swim lessons must be potty trained.
